Privacy Policy
Last updated: 8 July 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how myproduct.pro ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, and protects your personal data when you use our website and software service. We are a small UK-based software company.
Who we are
The data controller is myproduct.pro. For privacy enquiries, contact us at privacy@myproduct.pro.
What data we collect
We may collect and process the following personal data:
- Account information — username, name, email address, and password (stored securely hashed).
- Content you create — roadmaps, OKR sets, objectives, and other data you enter into the service.
- Usage and log data — IP address, browser type, pages visited, and timestamps, collected automatically for security and operation of the service.
- Billing information — subscription status and Stripe customer identifiers. We do not store your card details; payment processing is handled by Stripe.
How we use your data
We use your personal data to:
- Provide, operate, and maintain the service.
- Manage your account and authenticate you.
- Process subscriptions and payments (via Stripe).
- Respond to support requests and communicate with you about the service.
- Improve security, prevent fraud, and comply with legal obligations.
Under UK GDPR, our lawful bases include: performance of a contract (providing the service), legitimate interests (security and improvement), and consent where required.
Payment processing
Payments are processed by Stripe Payments UK Ltd. When you subscribe, Stripe collects and processes your payment card details directly. We receive only limited information from Stripe (such as subscription status and the last four digits of your card). See Stripe's Privacy Policy for how they handle your data.
Cookies
We use essential cookies only — specifically session and CSRF cookies required for you to log in and use the service securely. We do not use advertising or analytics cookies at this time.
Data retention
We keep your account data for as long as your account is active. If your account is closed, we will delete or anonymise your personal data within a reasonable period, except where we are required to retain it by law.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law, you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you.
- Request correction of inaccurate data.
- Request deletion of your data (subject to legal exceptions).
- Object to or restrict certain processing.
- Data portability, where applicable.
- Withdraw consent at any time, where processing is based on consent.
To exercise any of these rights, contact privacy@myproduct.pro. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO).
International transfers
Your data is primarily stored in the UK/EU. Some service providers (such as Stripe and our hosting provider) may process data outside the UK. Where this occurs, we ensure appropriate safeguards are in place, such as Standard Contractual Clauses.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the revised version on this page and update the "Last updated" date. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
